Soccer Should be FUN
Mini soccer is played by the under 10 age groups.
It is ruled by the Football Association (FA) that, soccer for the under 10 age groups should be fun and not competitive.
A slow build up to eleven-a-side games for these age groups is the aim.
Soccer has to be fun and enjoyed by all, but at these ages it is essential to keep up the appetite for the game later on.
Myself I would say the order of importance is:
- Fun
- Learning
- Result
If the players enjoy it they will learn and learning will achieve results.
